$10 dollars per hour on this boat times 24 at 35 MPH hours plus sleep time to nyc= $240 UMMM a plane ticket is best for 2hr flight. it makes no sense to buy a boat with no bed room nor shower when traveling slower than a car on a side street burning gas insurance like a fool.

I have this same boat (335SY) with Mercruiser 6.2L 300hp/ Bravo III’s and my best cruise is 34mph @ 1.2mpg in fresh water. In salt water, I’ve seen 1.3mpg. The fact that this gets 2.5mpg with the same HP, but in outboard power, is incredible!!

What has been done with the space that used to house the inboard engines on the 37? Larger fuel tanks (increased range)? More Storage Space?

Sadly the price was around $34,000 just a few weeks ago with a trailer and in your driveway, then the price said TBD... now the dealer won’t come anywhere below $40,000. Nice to see a run about outboard getting popular

We have loved our Monterey sport cruiser for several years and I have taken this tour. The boat is everything we ever wanted in a cruiser and I constantly recommend this brand to our friends and marina neighbors. The video is an accurate study of the development and construction of these fine boats and I was impressed by the commitment of the plant staff to building great boats and their excellent customer support. If you want to know what makes a Monterey great, ask someone that owns one!

From everything I read and have researched, Monterey builds an exceptional quality boat...... but I don’t think that is obvious to the casual looker. It has taken me months to decide if my next boat is going to be a Monterey. But I do like your new video and agree you should do more!!

Great video. You should do more of them. I have seen the videos that Crownline Boats have made on their website. Monterey should do some also. Would love to learn more about what makes Monterey boats great.

In the video the boat has a 300hp motor but the test results says 250hp which is it?

You do have a good point. There was a few times he was demonstrating something but the camera man never showed us what he was demonstrating.
